Join in the fun at Oakland's Annual 4th of July Parade & Community Celebration.
The Parade Theme is: Families, Friendships, Flags, & Flowers!
Oakland Economic Development is happy to be a sponsor of the event this year.
There will be MUSIC, FOOD, FUN & GAMES for the family in City Park following the Parade.
Being your chairs or a blanket...and a picnic lunch if you'd like.
There will be food/drinks available for purchase in the park.
Parade lineup starts at 10am at City Hall on Locust St.

The Oakland Post Office, Center Market, Stearns Hardware, & The Oakland Rural Fire District Office on 3rd St.
This is a Family Friendly Event for the enjoyment of our community, your families and your children.
As such, we ask that you keep that in mind when creating your parade entries within the theme of our Parade.

NOTE: Due to security reasons in keeping the children safe you are allowed to walk the sidelines & give out candy or other treats to the children, however, no throwing candy from a moving vehicle will be allowed.
Be creative with wagons for your candy....and if you need helpers to pass out your candy, let us know.
We will have volunteers who would be happy to walk alongside your parade entry to pass out your goodies for you.
